Letters to Our Kids: Happy 6 Months PFG Girl

Kids Email AddressWelcome to a new addition to the Pure Family Gold blog, letters to PFG Girl and PFG Boy.  On big occasions (ie. birthdays), we will write letters to our kids.  Additionally, some of these letters will be added to a new project that we are starting (see the picture to the right) where we are starting email addresses for PFG girl and PFG boy to highlight milestones in their lives over the years.  We will probably set up the email addresses but give them to them earlier than their 18th birthdays.

Dear PFG Girl,
Happy 6 months of being a part of our family.  When we found out you were going to be a part of our lives, we began making changes.  Mrs. PFG quit her full-time job and we built her a hair salon in our house.  PFG boy began going to a new school but he also was able to spend more time with his mom for the first time since he was six weeks old.

Your time with us has been full of excitement (hey, you were only four weeks old when our basement flooded), family celebrations (two first cousins and a second cousin being born), and hugs and kisses (more than your fair share from PFG boy).

You are an easy and care-free baby.  Your laughter and smiles (with your tongue out of course) brings a smile to my face after a long day of work.  You recently found your feet and toes and everything finds its way into your mouth.  Each morning you welcome us with a bright smile and a laugh for your brother.

There isn’t a food that you have tried so far that you don’t like and you are growing so fast already.  You love watching PFG dog run around and you are fascinated by lights.  You love being passed around and your many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents keep threatening to take you home with them.

Mommy loves making faces at you and I love just having you lay on my chest.  Your short time so far has brought us joy in ways that we cannot even describe and we look forward to watching you continue to grow.

We love you!

Daddy and Mommy
